Mimi Casteel

Mimi is an expert not just of wine, but agriculture and land use in general. Her beyond-organic farm is singular within the American wine world. It’s a dynamic ecosystem that incorporates livestock, welcomes in wild animals, eschews industrial inputs and produces prized pinot noirs.

Nicole Masters – Soil Expert

Nicole Masters will present “Turning Your Soil On.”

Microbiology, soils, plants, and animals are emitting an array of chemical, hormonal and biological signals that set the scene for healthy and resilient systems. What signals are you sending, and have you inadvertently been signaling for weeds and disease? Through aligning with nature and addressing enabling factors we can fast track our success in combating these challenges.

Nicole will dig deep into some of the current scientific breakthroughs, and how these phenomena can be harnessed in your field.
