Dan Kittredge will present “Growing for Nutrient Density” on Aug. 26 at 8:10 a.m. PT (U.S.). One of the leading voices for nutrient-dense farming, Dan Kittredge, of the Bionutrient Food Association, will provide an overview of the principles and practices of biological farming, exploring current research and proven methods. He will dive into the connection between agriculture and nutritional quality and explain why it’s the practices that have been tied to crop nutrient density, not the certifications.

Dan Kittredge has been an organic farmer for more than 30 years and is the founder and executive director of the Bionutrient Food Association (BFA), a non-profit whose mission is to “increase quality in the food supply.” Dan works to demonstrate the connections between soil health, plant health, and human health.
