Hemp farming expert Gary Reding is returning to the Advancing Hemp event! This year, his presentation will focus on hemp farming systems.
From Gary: “With a burgeoning new crop there are lots of variations to the systems which may be best to utilize. Some topics may include, growing and transplanting clones versus direct seeding, inserting hemp into your current crop rotation, cover cropping or not, companion crops, plastic covered rows, irrigation or dryland, soil preparation and more.”

Gary Reding is a plant and soil health specialist with 40+ years of agricultural experience. He was a consultant for Advancing Eco Agriculture, LLC ( with John Kempf) for four years and has worked with farmers in 10 states and Ontario, Canada.
