October 01, 2020
Greetings and a Happy October to our Acres U.S.A. family! It’s a busy month for farmers and we have a lot going on, so let’s get to it!
The most urgent deadline is the one for our upcoming Advancing Industrial Hemp event. This virtual event will provide hemp growers with practical, applicable management strategies and techniques for growing hemp in a profitable, ecological manner. Specific topics that will be covered include hemp seed management and germination techniques; soil nutrition and humus development; plant nutrition case studies; regenerative processing techniques; and proven tactics for creating marketplaces. View the full agenda here.
The speaker lineup features experienced hemp farmers and soil experts, including Doug Fine, Gary Reding, Sarah Cotterill, Brian Koontz of the Colorado Department of Ag, and more!
The event starts at 10 a.m. Mountain Time on Monday, Oct. 5. The speakers will present live, and will take part in a Question & Answer segment after their presentations. You are encouraged to bring all your burning hemp and soil health related questions for our experts to answer!
Even if you can’t attend the event at that time or date – register anyway! All registrants will have access to the event replay.

Free Hemp Consulting Hour!
If you’re not sure that hemp is for you – that’s ok! We have a free portion of the event directly following the presentations. At the Hemp Consulting Hour, you can talk live with one or all of our sponsors and soil experts and find the solutions you need for your farm’s soil health and hemp production problems.
Each company will present on a related topic – from soil biology and inputs to getting started to equipment and more!
All you need to do is register for the meetings(s) you want to join and then you’ll receive an email with a link to join the meeting. View meeting options here.
