Save your money. Buy a book.

I purchased several of these at the convention the day after the presentation. You can neither see the slides nor understand the audio. If you can's see the slide, and you can hear the speaker, then what is the value? It is 2019. My smartphone takes better video and audio. The people who were contracted to produce this media are amateurs. ACRES should post a few minutes of each segment online so buyers can see what they are getting. If they don't, then ACRES is complicit in the scam. They know these are junk. They should not be sold.

Great topics, not-so-great audio

I have purchased the entire conference audio recordings since 2010, the first few years on CD’s and the past few as MP3. I love the sessions and always learn lots, and have even purchased the conference recordings as gifts for friends and family. In fact, I have altered my career path as a soils professional in part based on what I have learned from ACRES. Unfortunately, the audio recordings from the conference are usually hard to hear and/or understand, even at higher volume. I have submitted this comment in the past, but the 2018 conference does not seem to be much better. I will continue to purchase the sessions, but I would feel much better about spending that kind of money if the audio recordings were of better quality.
